Wake Up
Wake Up is a walking simulator based on my own feelings and emotions. I found inspiration from The Beginner's Guide and the (supposed) self-expression of the developer. I am hoping that this relates to other people and they realize that they are seen and understood.

The first level is based on how I am feeling when I am low; lost in the darkness, walking so slow, but the "light at the end of the tunnel" is a close friend of mine. They are my light. When I do get to them, it brings me happiness, which is why the player gets teleported to a gallery of my most recent moments that brought me happiness. However, I can never stay happy, so when the player tries to reach "pure happiness", they get teleported back right to the beginning.

I believe no one can ever reach true, pure happiness, but thrive on small moments in their life. In the darkest moments, there is someone, or something, to help you. For me, people (my closest friends) are the ones to bring me out.

There is a bit of a creepy and mysterious vibe at the start with the mysterious voice, the yellow person standing still, and the black background. The person being far away makes for nice touch as the player would want to go towards it. I appreciate your use of actual photos being framed within the hall as it seems to give of this idea that you are exploring your own person and memories. The hallway is very well made, with realistic details and being rather colorful, reminiscent of an art gallery. Likewise, it is interesting how you can loop back to the beginning, indicating how you are constantly repeating your frustrations.
